Andreia Nunes

Andreia Nunes is a producer for WONDER MARIA Filmes and a teacher at Lusófona University, Lisbon. She is a trained Green Consultant in the Sustainable Management of Audiovisual Production Course with green consultant Dörte Schneider, which has become central to her approach.

After years of experience as a production coordinator, she co-founded Wonder Maria Filmes in 2020. The company is dedicated to creating projects with social and political relevance, often through international partnerships that allow for shared resources and a wider reach. This model supports a more sustainable way of filmmaking. Their first feature, "O Último Verão," was developed through this collaborative approach, co-produced with Italy and Argentina after participating in labs like the Berlinale's Script Station.

Andreia also passes on her knowledge as a production professor at Universidade Lusófona and a researcher for FilmEU. In these positions, she incorporates principles of sustainable production into her teaching, helping to establish these practices for the next generation of filmmakers.
